I read an article at firstshowing.net that suggests George Clooney is interested in playing The Lone Ranger. With Johnny Depp playing Tonto and Clooney as the Ranger, that could be a large box office draw. I wonder if it will be a live action movie or will they be providing voise overs for an animated film? It's a Disney film, so it could easily go either way.
shareI would say Clooney is a little too old to play the Ranger in a live action movie. Although Depp is a bit older than Tonto should be, he looks younger than Clooney.
