Why is this movie not available anywhere?

I was looking for this movie on Netflix and it doesn't even come up at all - under the actors filmography or anything. This film was great - full of great one-liners. I always like the way the head government guy quotes Goldwater. My favorite is when Majors is the rules vs laws exchange during the adjustment interview.

Anyway, I remember seeing this on the shelf back in the day when there were still things called Video Stores that you could browse shelves in, but it's a pitty that schlock from this era like Steel Dawn get put out on Netflix streaming, and the little known gems like get banished out of existence.

Amazon.com has a release date of April 12th. I haven't seen this since I was a kid and am looking forward to watching it again.

Well I expected this movie to dissappear, it was that type of film. Saw this as a kid myself, alone on a weekday, I must be the only person out of everyone I know that ever saw this movie. Guess it would be a novelty to see it once more but it's not like I have a real desire to.
