yeah, she was really incredible in this. I cannot recall teen angst being portrayed better.

Hard to believe how young she was and able to do such a great job at acting.

Got to agree. I was hooked from the moment we see her applying the red eyeliner right at the beginning of the film. Her in this film and Patricia Arquette in Lost Highway are two of the most beautiful and stylish cinematic female characters.
