I found this film to be quite engrossing in ts very oddness. The nutty premise and remote rural coastal setting just did it for me. I give this picture an 8 out of 10 for sheer novelty value alone.

Perhaps you were just more tired than usual that night and couldn't stop yourself from drifting off to sleep. That is the only explanation I can think of because this film is far from awful.
