Strangely watchable

As bad as this movie is, I find it strangely watchable just because everything about it so damn weird.

Also like someone pointed out in the reviews, it's funny how the kids bring the dad back from the dead just to turn him into their personal slave.

I agree. This film's all-out strangeness made it peculiarly compelling.

I have not seen this movie so I need to know something. The two children have telekinetic powers, right? Would you say the story is set in the real world and could possibly maybe happen (like the X-Men or Push) or does it have demons, etc., and is more of a fantasy. Is the father reanimated and controlled solely by telekinesis or do the kids summon some type of evil entity to help them? From a still photo I've seen the father has strange symbols on his face.

Real world, no demons, and no explanation whatsoever for the strange face symbols.

I agree with you about the movie being bizarre. The fact that it is so different from most films is what makes it one of my favorites. It is a very underrated film and does not get anywhere near the amount of recognition it deserves.

This movie is watchable because Marilyn Burns was one super-fine hot-ass blonde back in the day with sexy, luscious hair made of pure gold! :-)

It gets so sad watching her films now and knowing she is no longer with us, but nonetheless I love this movie anyways and it is still one of my favorites. While I'm sad she's gone, I'm happy she left great films like this to remember her by. Rest in peace, Marilyn.
