Difference between the R and NC-17 versions?

I notice that on Amazon.com, one DVD of this movie being offered is rated R:
http://www.amazon.com/Kiss-Daddy-Goodbye-Marilyn-Burns/dp/B000E5KQK0/r ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1330921506&sr=8-1
and the other is rated NC-17:

While I do recall a bit of nudity and implied sexual activity in this film, I hardly recall anything so torturous or obscene that it would warrant such a hard rating. Both versions are listed as being 92 minutes long, so not much (if anything) seems to have been cut for the R-rated version. Does anybody have any idea what the difference between the two versions is, and what earned the NC-17 version its rating?

I'm curious, did you ever watch both versions to see if there is a noticeable difference between the two?

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

Well, no. That's why I was asking: I was hoping maybe somebody else had. I wouldn't want to buy two DVDs when I can get just one and pay less, and if there's really no difference between the versions (as sometimes happens; movie ratings boards have been known to change their minds on re-issued movies), I wouldn't want to buy the more expensive one.

You can't go by Amazon's listings. This film came out long before the NC-17 rating was created and I highly doubt that someone paid the MPAA to re-rate this obscure film. Not that it's strong enough to get an NC-17 in the first place...

Yes, it's probably just a mistake. I can't think of any reason for this film to have that rating unless there were outrageously graphic deleted scenes. I don't think that's likely, but I may be wrong.

This version is the R-rated 93 minute version. Don't go by the Amazon rating and do not buy this version. It is horrible transfer! It's over cropped and windowboxed!
It is a small image where most of your TV screen is black. Zooming makes the picture unwatchable. Looks like it came from video tape.
Save you eyes and find another version.
