does anyone know?

I loved this movie and want to see it released on DVD, I don't remember who released the movie. I want to petition it to be released on DVD. Please post if you know any information that could help.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would love to see this movie again also. I remember when it ran on HBO back in the mid 80s. I thought it was pretty good and watched it several times but haven't seen it since.

My favorite part of the movie was the song Dinah Van Valkenberg sang in the scene when her band was rehearsing. I don't know if it was actually her singing or just lip-synched but it would be worth watching again just for that.

Hi,I just double checked the credits and it is her singing the song and its called "Dangerous Strangers".Oh yeah... her name is Deborah.Hey you were close anyway. As far as watching it again... I highly recommend it.I to saw it back in the early 80`s on tv and rented it several times but after the 80`s I could never find or buy it until I found it on ebay a few years back.I must say the movie does stand the test of time.

There is a good article in a the magazine Automobile Feb 2014. I raced on Mullholland and was an extra in the movie. My friends and I saw the movie when it first came out and thought it was awful. If you want to do a movie about racing then stick with that. The company that produced the movie was in the music business and was trying to promote some of their music people.
The vehicles and people were loosely based on real people. somewhere I have pics from the set showing 2 of every car. The Porsche speedster was a fiberglass kit car with a VW engine.

I would love to have this unjustly overlooked sleeper on DVD; it's a very fine and absorbing drama which nicely captures the whole early 80's nighttime car race scene.

I've been looking for this one for years too. I need to get a closer look at the F100 Dennis Hopper drives, so I can copy it... I LOVE that Truck!

I love this movie, I own it on VHS but they never released it on DVD for some unknown reason. I wish they would release it on Blue Ray. If a petition gets started I will definitely get onboard.

The film's only official home video release was a VHS format version available for a brief period during the 1980s. DVD copies of the film occasionally appear for sale on sites such as EBay, but these are illegal "backup" copies made from VHS cassettes.
