Steve Hunt or Steve Chase?

If this is a sequel to Kill or Be Killed, why did the hero's name change from Steve Hunt to Steve Chase? I'd love to know.

It's not a sequel. It's on a totally different continuum and there is not any reference to events in Kill or be Killed ( Karate Killer)

Everything will be OK in the end, if it aint OK,it aint the end.
