All new DVD (not the one on Amazon)

Finally, it's been legally released on DVD and it's not a DVD-R, but it's not a R1 release. You can get it on R4 from Australia, it's in Widescreen with digital sound, I've ordered mine already!

That's where you can get it!

No, that one is a bootleg.

This is the one I'm talking about:

I haven't seen the one from Amazon, but I do know that it is not a pressed DVD, it's a DVD-R and probably won't be that great. The version I bought has to be transferred from the original film print. It looks amazing! Like you wouldn't believe. It's a 1.85:1 widescreen transfer with digital mono sound (which sounds wonderful!) and it's a pressed DVD, so it will outlast the Amazon disc. Only problem is, both are the original theatrical versions WITHOUT the Edith Anne scenes (those were only played on TV). Lemme know what you think of the bootleg version compared to the Umbrella released version (the one I linked). And if it has the Edith Anne scenes please let me know! Thanks!

Hi! I purchased the Universal US dvdR one and quality is the same in my opinion to other movies of that time they put on DVD WOTHOUT mastering first. It's a tad grainy in scenes although someone just told me because allot of scenes were shot in 3D (it's original intended. Format but never happened and was released in 2D) there was film layers for 3d so any scene Lily was in would be like this an could cause some grainy ness on the print. But overall I'm very happy with it I know it's a dvdR but I've come to realize I don't really care cause allot of older movies I buy I put in my computer and they are aingle layer discs nothing about 4.7 GB so I just look at this in. The same way that all the studios have released "regular" non dual layer disc movies on DVD with no special features. And no the extra scenes are missing from this one as well :(
