You read it right! Humongous is finally coming to R1 DVD from Scorpion and more! HorrorDVDs has the report!:

Just read about this too. It sounds good, but there are no real details yet except for the Katarina intro stuff. With it actually carry an AUdio Commentary and will it be THE UNCUT RELEASE? We will have to see...

it says its uncut on the dvd cover art. Hope the transfer is good and not crappy...

Yes a copy from the original negative or a cleaned up (brighter) transfer is what is needed. Otherwise don't put it out.

I wouldn't trust a DVD cover that's been put out. Those are usually mock ups until the actual release is out. They're just for publicity before hand...

There *will* be an audio commentary with director Paul Lynch, screenwriter William Gray, and horror historian Nathaniel Thompson, moderated by Katarina herself, as well as the theatrical trailer. And the movie *is* the uncut master.

Just pre-ordered it from DD. About $15. Nice!

I hope the transfer is at least fair. Anybody ever buy a DVD from Scorpion?

It looks pretty good. Seems to be unedited. The atmosphere of this film is tremendous! I need to watch it again soon.
