Man the transformation scene when Dee was in that room was stupid, I mean you gonna just stand there the whole time just dumbly watching something turning into a werewolf getting ready to kill you instead of just hauling ass, but I guess they had to have that long scene just to show off the special effects.

I think Eddie wanted Karen to watch the transformation slowly, so he could showcase his 'gift'. She was frozen in terror.

So guess Eddie was the one who looked more f^ked everytime you see him an transforms for everybody he comes across

He blocked her in with the table. It's not very noticeable but look again when he first appears.

Her "fight or flight" response was sure delayed. She had some time where she could have ran, but instead she just waited and watched him change into a werewolf. Then after his transformation was completed, she decided to throw the urine/acid? in his face.

The more valid question would be why does it take him about 6 seconds at the start yet about three minutes later in the movie?
