About 10 years ago, I had written a rough draft for a sequel to this awesome flick. It involved most of the original actors and revolved mainly around Anthony Quinn's character [which is the best] and partly around James Coburn's character [wanting his money back] It was just a rough cut of a sequel. I had the opportunity of meeting Anthony Quinn and told him about it, he seemed genuinely interested. After Quinn died, I didn't know what to do with it, then after Coburn died, I just said "Screw it!" I feel a sequel or a remake withhout Anthony Quinn and James Coburn is poitles

Unless the sequel is about some new young robbers that come after Brolin's money. Turn the tables on him, so he's now feeling what it's like to be the Coburn character.
