RELEASE THE SOUNDTRACK ON CD

If the producers of this classic film or the composer (Mr. Dan Wyman) are reading this:
Can’t you please work to get this fantastic soundtrack released on CD?
This must be one of the most sadly underrated horror soundtracks ever, and it’s a big shame it have never been released as a soundtrack album.
I would very much appreciate if you could make a comment or reply to this here on the site.
I know through several soundtracks sites that MANY more people around the globe would welcome such release.
What can we expect in the future? Any plans? Who holds the rights?

Of course, you "Hell Night" fans out there are welcome with your comments as well. I suspect you are legion.

Scott: "What a little twat. We should have left her behind."
Peter Bennett: "Why? Her behind is the best part. We should have kept her behind and left the rest of her."

Amen, I agree get this soundtrack out on cd! The music is great and scary throughout the movie!

Couldn't agree more. The music really adds to the atmosphere of this gem of a movie. I especially love the closing credits theme. Very enigmatic and completely unlike the standard fare normally found in this genre. It's what helps to make Hell Night stand head and shoulders above all of the dross which would follow throughout the 80s.

I'm still looking for information on the band that played the opening song that played during the credits...

"When you're slapped you'll take it and like it."

luvehorror, if you find out please post! I was watching this last night and for some reason I like that song.

Anyone know the song that's playing at the beginning?

Composer Dan Wyman also did the music for Without Warning (1980), an awesome early synth soundtrack (he worked on Halloween (1978) too).
