Love this Film

Just watched it 2 x within a week......Stark, real, and tough. I love places in the heart.Which kind of reminded me of this film in different ways....... Both actors did an great job......I did notice there are stretches in the film where not much is said. Which worked for this film. There seems to be love and understand between that couple. Even though they only are shown kissing in one scene, at the wedding. I'll be spreading the word of this film, far and wide......

So how did you find out about this film? I'm surprise I had never heard about it until I found it for 99 cents in the clearance bin of a video store.

This is beautifully filmed and sensitively acted, the type of movie that Terrence Malick and Michael Cimino built their careers on. I'm not surprised that the director, Richard Pearce, also did the excellent "Country," which is also set in the Midwest though several decades later. He has a real feel for the land and the people who work it.
