Yes it is pure brilliance!!!! I never get tired of watching 2 people in cardboard/rubber robot suits walk around in the woods for approximately 400 hours. The dialogue was inspired, oh how I laughed and laughed at the neverending cutesy computer speak from those richly developed characters of 'Andy Kaufman Robot' and 'the other lady robot one', "Heartbeeps" is a true triumph of cinema, never again shall we experience a movie so enchanting, so relatable and so real in every sense, to not have it in top 250 is a travesty. SHAME ON IMDB USERS!!!

I don't know about it being in the top 250 but it's a nice little movie. Basically, it's a kiddie movie which is kind of sweet, silly and simple with a happy ending. The problem is that most people see that Andy Kaufman is in it and expect the humor to be more like his usual fare. Then, when it turns out to not be like that, they throw a fit. How dare Kaufman make a sappy kids movie! lol

Where are we a-going? Planet Ten
When are we a-going? ...real soon...

I saw it as a kid and I remember it being pretty poor. Even as a kid's movie.

I can't quite match that enthusiasm, but I saw it during the fleeting minute that it was in movie theaters. I remember rather enjoying it, but I also remember apologizing for it to my date.

Oddly enough, the only thing I've remembered vividly over all the years since then has been the comment by the comedian robot, Catskil, when he sees the raccoon: "Boy, dat's an ugly dog." I must have repeated that line a million times since then.

Anyway, I just watched it again last night, and I really, thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't suspect that I've seen it for the last time.

I loved the movie very much. But are you being sarcastic? Not quite the best ever made but decent and enjoyable and sadly underappreciated.

Just one thing -- I think it ought to have had more humor, considering all the comedians and comic actors in the cast.
