Amelia

i read on this board that Amelia was killed and because of the graphic nature, her death was omitted to avoid an X rating. How was she killed? Is there any deleted scenes showing this?

Lisa Langlois did an interview with Terror Trap some years ago and discussed this with them: www.terrortrap.com/interviews/lisalanglois If you want the Cliff's Notes version, she says she got axed in the head. At that link, you can see the lobby card that shows her dummy head with blood splattered all over it, and that's as much as you're gonna get. The idiot who ran CARA at the time, Dick Heffner, was known for having a hangup about people getting chopped in the face, so her story sounds about right.

No deleted scenes have ever been released for this picture - and all of the murder sequences had to be cut down to avoid an "X." The late John Dunning said he had trims but didn't know what they were, and no one who has put this out on DVD or Blu cared enough to be bothered the way that Lionsgate did with "My Bloody Valentine." There was apparently no way to trim Amelia's murder to that loon Heffner's satisfaction, so the whole thing had to go. Thus, she "lives." I must say, even though Columbia stinks for not preserving the original cut and even though their DVD release was pathetic, they did a pretty darn good job on the recut. I can't tell where on earth this footage was originally placed.

My only problem with that is there is no explanation on what she is doing just standing outside in the rain.
