Who has 'The Hand' DVD ?

I was curious for those, who own the "The Hand" DVD. It was second horror effort from Writer/Director:Oliver Stone before directing movies like Platoon, Wall Street, World Trade Center and others.

I seen this parts of this movie, five years ago. I was really bored by it, despite the interesting premise. I am willing to give this other shot, especially since it`s out now on DVD. I would love to order this movie along with the other five movies from Twister Terror Collection or basically just getting the box set.

I am a big fan of commentary tracks in movies, Is the Stone commentary track any good, for those, who are fans of this cult classic ?

Thanks for the info. I read the interet review of "The Hand" on dvdtalk.com. He also really liked the commentary track of Writer/Director:Stone. I tired to watch this movie a couple of years ago, i had a hard time wactching it but i am willing to give it another chance again. Some movies i hated when i was young like "Day of the Dead", "Highlander" or "The Abyes". Now i love them alot now.

The Twisted Terror Collection has six movies on it.

From Beyond the Grave.

Someone`s Watching Me. (T.V. Movie, directed by John Carpenter).

Eyes of the Stranger. Starring one of the early roles of Jennifer Jason Leigh with some gory make-up effects by Tom Savini. It is also the rare Uncut print of the movie.

The Hand, of course.

Deadly Friend. Probably the least successful of Wes Craven movies but has its moments. It is also the rare Uncut print of the movie.

and Dr. Giggles. Although from what i heard, Warner disc changed the aspect ratio from the DVD. It was originally shown in 2.35:1 Widescreen aspect ratio. Now the DVD is 1.85:1 aspect ratio. But the film was filmed in Super 35. Which you probably see a little more in the top and bottom.

I hope this information helps you as well.

Film is very good horror tale, like episode of Twilight Zone in longer form. Caine really makes this one work, but overall well excecuted scenes and suspense-moments have some suspense. Stone is not Master Of Horror, but sure is Master of Film, on DVD Stone delivers excellent commentary.
