I think this movie is better than Halloween 2018

I do, too.

They both have a lot of unneeded carnage, but Halloween II flows so much better. Laurie is likable, unlike her drunken, broke down version in the new one. I still believe Halloween II is the only sequel where The Shape FEELS like The Shape.

I loved the 2018 Halloween but I haven't seen it since opening night...I've seen Halloween II(81) like 100s of times..always been one of my favorites.

I thought the sequal was ok in terms of entertainment but pointless, shes in Hospital the entire time Michael kills a few people then we have a repeat of the first movie. and that stupid twist that was forced in. Carpenter himself admitted to writing it drunk in 1 night

what they should have done was skip to a year later or something.and she has PTSD of the events of the first movie and Halloween pops around again and Michael turns up

Absolutely. '18 is very overrated in my opinion.

I like it better than Halloween 2018 too. Not saying that H2018 is a bad movie. I just love the atmosphere of Halloween II. This is where Halloween should have ended.

I think Halloween 2018 is better than this one, but I think this one is better than the original Halloween 1978.
