Should Lonnie have been the kid at the hospital?

To give it more of a connection to part 1.

The night he came home

reply

If it was then poor Lonnie, imagine biting into a piece of candy to get a mouth full of razor blade. Goddam...

reply

It could've been.

reply

Probably the real life Lonnie wasn't a kid anymore in 81...

Would have been even more funny if Loomis saw him at the hospital and told him and his mother to "Get your assess out of here!"

And then you hear as they are running out, faintly
"Mom, I told you I heard a guy that sounded exactly like that!"

Why would he yell at him at the hospital, though?

RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

reply

I'll leave that up to the Carpenter couple in an alternate 1981 timeline

I guess it would have to coincide with Loomis, what'sherface that came to summon Loomis back, and the Marshall she brought with her being at the hospital - perhaps in this scenario the mother and "the Lonnie" arriving moments before the Marshall gets it

reply

That would've been a cool idea, but I'd say the actor who played Lonnie probably had quite a growth spurt by '81... unless he was a midget.

INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!

reply

That would have been great karma. I guess kind of harsh though. The actor who played the kid was Ty Mitchell who also played the kid in The Fog. For some reason he's credited as Young Gary, because the deputy's name is Gary Hunt. Not sure why Carpenter gave them the same first name.

It's not connected enough already?

Ha. I enjoy Hunt immensely. More so than Cyphers Brackett.

Why are you telling me?

Why not? We're all talking about Halloween II aren't we?

You're not permitted to just pester people with non sequiturs. It makes it appear that you have mental/learning difficulties.

I'm asking the OP a specific question and you are replying to me with your opinion of a totally separate character.

You sound desperate, lonely and confused when you do that.

reply

Well, I'm none of the above.

reply

Stop behaving in a way that forces people to make that conclusion then.

reply

No one's forcing you to come to any conclusion.

reply

I'm afraid you are.

reply

Maybe he should have listened to Loomis's warning.
