Copyrighted music??? Or Royalty Free???

Do you guys realize that the music in this movie is the same music that The Twilight Zone uses...like in 'To Serve Man'? That music must be royalty free I guess... Anyone's take on that issue???

Well i don't know if the music is copy righted or royalty free. But what i do know that the american dub of this movie has a complete different soundtrack then the original italian cut of the movie.

The real original soundtrack of "Antropophagus" was composed by Marcello Giombini and sounds nothing like the music used on the american dub. The new italian 2 disc
DVD contains the english dub with the real original soundtrack.

I don't know why the american distributors opted for a different soundtrack but it certainly doesn't fit the film. Giombini's soundtrack is much more atmospehric !

I trust that Shriek Show will use the original english dub for their upcoming DVD which has the original italian soundtrack by Marcello Giombini, if not then they used the american dub.

Yeah, I rented this from Netflix, so the gore was tame at best. I wanna see any Italian horror movie unrated, I love 'em! I have Susperia, Zombi 2, House By The Cemetary, and one of the greatest of all time, The Beyond. This was a good movie, but being cut and the music made it not so atmospheric. Shrek Show will do what they do, make a good transfer on a cheaply made movie.
