Dorothy or Susan?

Would rather have Susan, Dorothy is too far up her own arse.

reply

"Dorothy's a good sport" - Susan :o)

reply

For sure.

Dorothy was high-maintenance.

reply

"Well, if you're gonna argue about it... forget it" - Dorothy

"I like to do something special on Saturday night"

I couldn't choose. Thankfully, Susan does the thinking and scheming.

susan everytime!!!!

For looks, Dorothy. For personality (much more important), Susan. But Margo is competition in both categories, as well!

reply

When I first saw "Gregory's Girl" about 25 years ago I would have picked Dorothy for looks and Susan for personality. At that time I agree with ShopperDave. But as time goes by and I continue to watch it over and over on video, SUSAN on all counts!

BTW, I wonder what Madeline looks like these days?

reply

there is definitely "something about susan"

reply

Susan, without a doubt.

reply

Susan.

reply

Very generous of you all to leave Dorothy for my very own!

Oh c'mon. What a question. Altered Images? At the time, Clare Grogan was adored by myself and every teenage boy, with pictures on walls and the whole shebang. We'd have lined up to do the 'lie-down-dance' with her anytime! hahaha.
Mind you, a girl who plays footie ...
Nope. Fergit it. Susan every time. Stop your internal dialogue, the question's been answered.

Susan

Dorothy (fake ass italian) anoyed the living *beep* outta me!

"fake ass italian"

That's awesome (and totally sums her up).

reply

Susan, of course. And all over the show an' all.

reply

not necessarily that easy ...but Susan for her louise brooks haircut & overall cuteness-besides guys like girls that dig them not refuse them

reply

Susan for me too! I'd be interested to know what Alison "Madeline" Forster looks like now as well - she'd be about 40 by now, I think! Hope she doesn't look like Fiona Bell (who played Maddy in the 1999 sequel 'Gregory's Two Girls') - they totally miscast Madeline in that film!

reply

Susan all day long, then and now.

reply

I saw this right after it came out and Susan was always my pick.

Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

No one's mentioned Carol. Didn't you just love that outfit she changed into in the phone booth for her "date"? That "streetwalker chic" look really screams "hey, big boy, need a date tonight?"

Just kidding, just kidding...heh heh

Actually, my choice would be Susan. Very cute and intelligent with a bit of introspective shyness.

As pretty as Dorothy is, she is clearly dominant and a bit high maintenance.
