Before there was 'Romancing The Stone' there was 'Green Ice'
An enjoyable Caper set in columbia,
I feel it will benefit from a new transfer and or remix of audio elements,

I agree. This movie should have been properly released on DVD with very high quality audio in rich stereo and dolby surround. I own the soundtrack on CD and its marvelous. Too bad it doesnt sound that way on the movie. Its a great flick and a classic at my house.

great to see this film. i remember watching it on a bus in greece. sadly there was no headphones to listen to it and i couldn't follow the dialogue. there was subtitles though, in greek, but that didn't help. been trying to track this film down since.

I have since found the DVD that has the Greek subs included. So it isn't an American release. But the audio is in rich stereo. Sounds great. $2 used off of Ebay is a great deal.

Scorpion Releasing are putting this one out on Region 1 DVD; the street date is August 5 while the suggested retail price is $19.95.

It's a good transfer too. My only complaint is that there isn't a chapter menu.
