Mid 80's slasher flick that features Graduation Day. (SOLVED)

Does anyone know the name of the slasher flick that came out sometime in the mid 80's that has a chracter watching Graduation Day on tv? Of course it must not have been very good if the only scene I remember is Graduation Day on the tv

EDIT: Not that anyone cares but I did find the movie that featured Graduation Day, it's called Night Screams(1987)

I saw Night Screams a long time ago and thought that movie on TV was shot for Night Screams. When I saw Graduation Day a few years later I was wowed for a moment when that scene came on.

night screams. where the guys wife is found murdered,(by his own daughter) and he calmly walks over to the phone and calls police all calm without panicking. man, was that some bad acting or what!!
