Patch Mackenzie Jennifer Beals

I swear, in the last couple of seasons of The L Word it seems as if they styled Jennifer Beals' character after Patch Mackenzie's character in this film. The hair, the outfits....it's really eerie. Far fetched, I know, but I can't help but wonder if the creator had massive lady wood for Patch in this film and tried to make Jennifer Beals look as much like her as possible.
