7:30 Minute song? UGH!

Why the *beep* did they have to put that song in the movie for so long? It just kept going and going and it really took away from the kill that was going on in between shot of that gay 80's Boy-George-Look-Alike band.

I timed it out. It took seven and a half minutes for that song to be over. Good god.

Plus we were just subjected to another band song by that guy with the acoustic guitar and the other guy with the Fro and the Harmonica.

Great song!

The song was just okay, but it being too long caused it to grate on me. Some other movies stop the song when the scene is off the band. This movie should have done the same thing.

Just adds to the movies overall charm imo. It's a really catchy song.

Just finished watching the movie for the first time and didn't realize the song was that long. It seemed neverending to me so not surprised it was that lengthy. I couldn't wait for the song to be over. I didn't care for the guy's singing voice.

I didn't know it was the same band who sang this song, vaguely remember this song even though I was just a little kid at the time.

And yes, that song was horrible AND TERMINABLE! 

The whole movie was overlong at 1 hour, 37 minutes, which is a tad too long to sustain a schlocky (but entertaining) slasher flick.

Likewise, seven and a half minutes was probably a little too long for that one song -- "Gangster Rock" by Felony -- but it is a driving hard rock ditty and that sequence perks the movie up; besides, the movie kept switching between the live song/roller skating to the slayings in the nearby woods. Either it's assumed that the song ran more like five minutes or the band simply did a longer rendition for the live setting, possibly because it was their local hit.
