Why the *beep* did they have to put that song in the movie for so long? It just kept going and going and it really took away from the kill that was going on in between shot of that gay 80's Boy-George-Look-Alike band.
I timed it out. It took seven and a half minutes for that song to be over. Good god.
Plus we were just subjected to another band song by that guy with the acoustic guitar and the other guy with the Fro and the Harmonica.
I know, right? The song was kinda catchy when it started, but at the 3:45 minute mark, me and my friends were all like "Alright already! You made your point, just move on!"
You timed it?! lol It did seem like it would never end! I guess the director wanted to get some good band shots AND a couple of killings in while the song was still playing. It definitely was overkill, though!
sharewell i saw that scene, not all of it, a friend showed me lol, but free bird and the devils rejects was about 9 minutes and it reallly rocked as a pairing

Yeah I had to watch it at double speed and was amazed that it still seemed like it went on forever
shareI thought it layered over very well, I was more annoyed you could hardly see what the kills were and what was going on! But I just watched it again and I see it more clearly now and I noticed the breasts I missed before.

shareOMG, it was ENDLESS. I finally just paused the movie in the middle of that scene to come here to see if it's just me. Thankfully, it's not. That song is APPALLING.
sharethe songs called the gangster rock, by a 80's band called felony. I think the lead singer shot himself in 1992. however.. They had a semi hit in 1983 called (the fantic)
shareIt was so loud and the singers voice was so annoying. I had to fast forward it after a while. I didn't mind the graduation day blues song though. It wasn't quite as long and it was pretty good.
shareI thought it was just me that thought that song was too long! Also, I wondered why that band was all painted up like new wave pretty boys when they sounded like some 70s bar band.
