Christopher George at his hammy peak

Near the end of his career, the magnifico Mr George made his mark on a number of horror gems, including this, Fulci's CITY OF THE LIVNG DEAD, and the holy grail of slasher cinema, PIECES. I admire his ability to ham it up like a second rate Times Square demon, when he was actually a fine accomplished actor in his days of mainstream work.

Love him, miss him. RIP, sir.

Ah, he was wonderful. I also love him in Enter the Ninja and The Exterminator.

The only authentically good movie I think I've seen him in is El Dorado. But he himself is good in everything, of course.

Particularly when he strikes a pose during the opening credits sequence (at 1:58):

Christopher George was genuinely awesome in City of the Living Dead. Pure class.

Christopher George was in top gruff'n'growly form as the hard-nosed Coach George Michaels.
