Best Slasher Line Ever?

During the chase scene through the woods, in pursuit of the killer, the detective, who is more interested in filing the report and "getting the hell out of here!" than solving the case (also hilarious), stops Anne and asks, quite sincerely,

"Who are you? And, what's your stake in all of this?"

Hilarious, the way he plays it; and, so unexpected.

I'm guessing that information could really help his report.
