This film is the reason I bought a Cooper

I am a 28 yr. old American male and I live in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I am a huge fan of Australian and Kiwi cinema. Yes, I have seen The Italian Job (British) which is the movie everybody at work brought up (remake, mind you) when I showed up with the car. But I have to say that since the Mini's showed up in America (early 2000's about) I did not like them much. But I had been looking for a copy of GBPP for years and when I finally landed a copy of the NZ 2 Disc DVD I fell in love with this film AND the car. One of the things that really gets me is that they are not made in yellow (at least in America) the last few years at least from what I can tell. (I bought my burnt orange one used) But anyway, if it weren't for this excellent under-seen (at least here) film than I may never have had one. I have had mine four weeks now and LOVE it. Anyway, since the posts on this board are few and far between I thought I would pipe in. I have read that this is a well-loved movie in NZ and I think that is rightfully so. I just thank God that my love for Australian chase movies led me here to this NZ movie. Like America's Vanishing Point (another of my favorites) this film is a great action film and SO much more! Anyway, no one will probably ever respond to this post but thank you Kiwis nonetheless! "We're takin' this car to Invercargill!"
