Incestous overtones

I am the first one to post on this message board. I looked at all ten of the user comments and saw no one mentioned how the brother seemed to have an incestous obsession with his sister. The subplot out of many of this film's subplots i'm talking about is the one about the wacko, overprotective brother[Dan Aykroid's brother Peter who i don't think looks like him despite what some people say} who lives with his photographer sister. The reason i think he lives with her is becouse he's psychologically unequipped to hold a job. He is just obsessed, following her wherever she goes, threatening to karate-chop her dates. In one scene when her romantic interest{Howie Mandel} for the movie calls, Peter tangles himself up in the phonecord while threatening howie. The sister{Sandee Currie} comes and grabs the phone away from him and confirms with howie of their date. She puts on a dress and needs help zipping it up in the back. She asks peter, still entangled in the cord, to zip her up. He uses his mouth to zip her up and then licks her! Doesn't that indicate incestous overtones? Where is Sandee Currie now? Anyone know? I think peter still does acting by the side but makes his living as a paranormal investigator! A real-life ghostbuster,in a sense. I would like to hear other views about this.

You have a good eye for cinematic subtlety, my friend.
I am glad to see that someone else has picked up the incestous symbolism in the film "Gas." Because of the film's important place in the history of cinema, I have written a 950 page coffee table book all about "Gas." The book (or TOME, as some might say) is very cleverly titled "GAS." (trust me, the title of the book makes sense. kind of an in-joke about the movie "Gas") It is available by emailing me at [email protected]. The price is a bit steep, $999.99, but well worth it considering this film's many many enigmas. (I have dedicated an entire chapter to the character who, out of the blue, shows up and says "I'm Larry Mondelo. You guys seen the Beav'?", and another chapter all about Nick the Noz's very original radio intro; Nick himself singing the catchy ditty "You're all right. You're okay. You've got the Nozzle Nick." What great meter, and rhyme structure) It's fascinating reading over 120 nights. Please email me for your copy today. Hurry up though, as I only have two copies left! Actually, I only made two, but that still leaves two copies, doesn't it?
To the talents of Donald Sutherland, Sterling Hayden, Susan Anspach, Keith Knight (the fat looser kid from the cinematic piece of cow-dung "Meatballs". However, he later proved his acting chops in the film "My Bloody Valentine," made by the same team as those responsible for the 1981 film "Gas," which you should check out. It's actually surprisingly good!) and Howie Mandell, I say to you "Bravo, people. Bravo."
Mmmmmmm, yes. "Bravo" indeed.

You're a total riot, cro25. You ought to start doing screenings of this shamefully neglected and maligned cinematic masterpiece at film schools all over the world, naturally followed by a serious and lengthy question and answer session with aspiring filmmakers about the movie's many sterling virtues and subtle shadings. I'm sure you'll make a bundle and become a substantial overnight cult sensation within a matter of monthes if you actually decide to follow my sound advice.
