Hello there sir.
Is the RUSH song in this movie? Of course it is.
However, you're really missing the point! It's kind of like asking if Orson Welles made the Rosebud sleigh out of wood or cardboard? I suppose it's a relevant question, but really...who cares?
This is, in this writer's humble opinion, the most under-appreciated, best film ever made in the history of people getting together in caves to re-enact dramas of killing the...uh...Mastodons or whatever.

It is terrific; the soundtrack, the acting, everything. It'll make you laugh, make you cry, and make you question what your place on this earth is.
It is the most important film in the world.
I've been trying and trying to get anyone interested in (or even enroll) in my 8-week master class where we study this movie frame-by-frame.

Believe me, my friend, this movie will transform you from one who cares about whether or not a Rush song is in this movie, to someone who cares about whether or not Mother Teresa deserves sainthood.
It's THAT good.
Howie Mandell, Suthreland, Sterling Hayden, Sandee Currie (who that same year had made TERROR TRAIN! Whew!), Susan Anspach... all have gone on to have careers that suck. The high point of their careers was this celluloid gem. They should be proud.

Without fear of exaggeration, this is the funniest, saddest, greates motion picture since speak replaced sign language.

BTW, if anyone is interested in purchasing my 1,00 page coffee-table book on this movie, please email me at [email protected]. I only have two copies left!
Honestly, I only MADE two copies, but that just shows to go you that it is a terrific book that you need to buy right now! Don't let the $900 price tag scare you. It's worth it. Well worth it. (And that comes from a completely unbiased source: my mommy.)

For the record I don't even know what the "Limelight" song by RUSH sounds like. I do clearly remember the "Sign of the Gypsy Queen Song" by April Wine.

GAS . . . truly the noisiest movie I've ever seen. I bought it new many moons ago. You know there's something screwy about a movie where Howie Mandel plays the most normal person in it.

And dig Uncle Leo and the Hare Krishnas. Or Peter Aykroyd in a tow truck with no brakes.

The world is a better place because of movies like GAS.

Seen it 25 times and it still makes me laugh and everyone else *cringe*.

That's their loss!
