Pretty much all the artists involved in this production, gave us something that blended and meshed beautifully to create the vivid and rich atmosphere of this film.

The set design, the music score, the cinematography, the editing, the screenplay and the strong direction by Hooper of his actors and scenarios are top notch for this genre of horror film. It was a box office failure for some reason. Maybe it just got lost amongst the other releases and was bad timing.

Yes, me too. I can see why Tobe Hooper is considered a horror legend. Not only this film but also Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Eaten Alive, Poltergeist, AND Salem's Lot. Most other horror filmmakers can only dream of creating so many classics.

Gosh damn son of a cotten pickin biscuit! This frickin movie is one heck of a ride. Shoot i may just watch the gosh darn rascal again by gosh.
