How did Jason find Alice????

So Jason was fairly young when he "drowned". Now I'm not sure if he was just disfigured or if he was disfigured as well as mentally handicapped. But even if he was all there mentally, how did he know where Alice lived?? How far away from the camp did she live?? And how did he get his hands on his mom's noggin?? Did he grab it before the cops got there?? Maybe the cops not finding it chalked it up to it ending up in the lake and getting eaten by something the lake?? And how did he come to live in the woods?? So they never find him after he "drowned" and he just washed up on the other side of the lake and didn't know how to find his way back to people??
Questions questions questions questions LOL.

The first movie indicates that Jason is around just as Pamela is driving up for her reveal. Jason witnessed his mother's death and snapped up her head. Jason could've found Alice through the records at the camp or simply by supernatural guidance.

When I really think about it, I think it all can just be chalked up to there was never meant to be another movie after this original movie. Jason drowned. The thing in the lake that brought her down out of the canoe was just a dream probably because she was so traumatized by everything that happened. That's why they didn't find a boy. Plus, if that really was Jason, he wouldn't still be a boy. He'd be a grown by then. And then in usual franchise form, once they see that a movie does good at the box office, then they decide they want to make sequels so they just make it up as they go along really. To hell with continuity and all that jazz LOL.

There wasn't supposed to be. But it made good money so they made a sequel. Capitalism, baby!

Ya gotta admit though, they were awfully fun. A lot more fun than the Michael Myers movies. 😆😆
