I refuse to believe that

This dumbass Jason Voorhees was able to track down Alice Hardy so he could kill her, I mean can Jason even read? Even if he could he doesn't even know her name, also it seemed that Alice was living in a city that was probably quiet a distance from camp crystal lake so yeah how the hell did he find Alice?

reply

It was implied in the novel that she visited the Camp months after the events that took place in F13, for some sort of closure, and Jason picked out her car that she drove when he went to town later that evening. Crazy Ralph drove his bike to and from the campground, so it isn't much of a stretch for someone to walk that distance. Carrying Alice's body back to his shack is another story……..

reply

Damn Alice should've just stayed away from that town and lake, I mean she chopped off the head of the killer, how much more closure do you need?

reply

Yea I no Alice goes back to the place where her friends got killed a year later for closure. Lmao give me a break. And Jason some how follows her home. Who even knows if she lives in the same state. Did he walk or better yet Jason drives to Alice house like Michael Myers did. Lol. Sorry but it's bad writers. Why make Alice die in the first place. Should of left it alone

reply

Actually it was only 2 months after her friends were killed, but it did not make sense that Jason knew Alice even lived in town. Also, from the look of her apartment, it would appear that she lived there longer contradicting her moving there very recently.

For some who suffer from PTSD, the only way to face and overcome their fears, while filling in some of the gaps, is to visit the site of where the trauma occurred. In acute cases of PTSD, the person is reliving the events everyday, regardless if they're 10,000 miles away from ground zero. I know a couple of Nam vets who made the journey back to the jungle, and it helped them immensely. Heck, that was one of the themes of Friday the 13th part 7, when Tina went back to Crystal Lake with her Psychiatrist, in order to overcome the trauma of inadvertently killing her dad as a child. It's also conceivable that Alice went back looking for any signs of "the boy" that she swore she saw. Nobody believed her recollection of being dragged into the water by Jason, and I'm sure that weighed quite heavily on her already fractured sanity.

reply

If this is true about Alice than she deserved to die. Ain't no way in the world I'm going back to the place where my friends got murdered. Funny thing is nobody saw Jason with that bag over his head while he as slaking miles to Alice house lol. I no it's a movie but come on.

I read that about her stalker.

I thought about this when I was watching it last night. I thought it would be humorous if Jason had to ask directions to Alice's house. "Uh excuse me, could you help me find an address, maybe a phone number too? I'm looking for a girl named Alice, kinda cute with short hair, maybe 5'5" or so, around 22 years old. You know anyone by that name?"

reply

While it's true that nobody knows how Jason followed her home, it's not like he was pressed for time. Jason had all the time in the world to figure out how to find her, considering he has nothing else to do.

reply

Way to help with the writing. This one can use all the help it can get.

reply

Perhaps ol' Jason had a contact? In the phone company?

Who owed him an favour?

Maybe his dear old da assisted with the Alice location?

Happen Jason just got really lucky?

Or he hired a private investigator?

Could it be that he just went around murdering any woman that he found until he found Alice?

His supernatural abilities involve finding the skank who murdered his mom.

One of many errors in logic that can be used as a machete against this sequel. Each sequel has its errors. If one uses their logic brain this franchise doesn't have much of a prayer. Roll with the punches or don't get hit at all.

No! You *can't* be alive!

reply

i didn't buy it either. movie should've started with the campers movin' in.

forget Alice

reply

Yeah there was no real need to bring Alice back, other than to appeal to fans of the first film to try to draw them in for the sequel. At this point in the series, Jason's character wasn't fully established so I guess within the reality of this sequel it's not beyond reason that Jason could have researched Alice's address (perhaps records held at the camp) and track her down. On top of this, it's implied that he calls her moments before killing her as well so he also knows how to work a phone. And then capping it all off, he apparently carried his mother's severed head all the way to Alice's house to leave in her fridge as a prank before icing her? Lol, it's all good stuff though!
