i actually found him cool, he though got a well deserved double ass kicking by Todd and Copper, however I thought Mr Bear was supposed to kill the hunter, but bear was going for everyone! What you guys think of the black bear? lol

It's the biggest bear I've ever seen.

That sequence is one of the most feral-powered(ferocious and brutal) out-of-your-seat sequences in Disney history.
I'm writing a novel, and there is going to be a bear-attack sequence based on this movie's bear attack:
Two six-year-old girls, he best of friends, are in the middle of the forest playing in the grass and smelling the flowers in the meadows, when suddenly an enormous, monstrous grizzly bear appears attacks them, and the little girls have to work together to fend off the bear. The fight ends down a waterfall, just like in "The Fox and the Hound".

I'm making a book full of short stories I've written over the past year. Some of the stories I written are filled with dark humor, drug use, profanity, graphic sex and violence. Others are just plain weird, dark, and excessively violent. They never have happy endings because I make the demented, bad guy win all the time. I make the main characters females half the time...and they're the evil, demented ones. Which makes sense cause I'm female and I'm a little cooky.
I don't that book will be on the shelves anytime soon.
That bear looked pissed off in a way, but yeah, he was pretty cool.
As for why Tod survived and the bear didn't....I guess the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

He looked possessed after Amos shot him. Also, grizzlies weigh up the 1300 lbs, so that is big, but Polar Bears and Kodiak Bears are way bigger.

As for the bear, it just happened to be a black-furred Grizzly that got really ANGRY when Amos shot him. I wonder if it's still alive?
