I have a VHS copy taped from network TV in the 80s and an actual copy released by Media and they BOTH look better than the DVD. I swear, my taped from network TV copy with commercials looks clearer and sharper than the DVD.
I'm sure if I had transfered my VHS copy, it would look better than this transfer.
Yeah, I know, but I did warn ya' over in another thread.
You probably noticed, like I did:
1) The first few seconds of the film cut, it's just credits, no distributor logo.
2) It kind of slows down very slightly every 45 seconds or so, then gets back up to speed. It happens so often that it gets very bothersome.
3: I've seen better VHSRips, but I've seen worse quality versions of films in these sets (Tracking static---ouch!!! Over brightness---I'm BLIND!!!!!).
One of these days, I want to see American go back and do their own DVD release of Force: Five, they did good jobs with Good Guys Wear Black, A Force of One, The Octagon and DIRT.
