Feels like a Dalton film

This film really strikes me as having the feel of a Dalton film. I really enjoy Moore's lighter take on Bond but Dalton is my favourite and it really has a grounded and realistic feel to it as well as being a little dark as well.

I found Bill Conti's score rather refreshing too although it does miss the John Barry touch but a change was nice.

Personally I find that there isn't a Bond film up to and including Goldeneye that I don't find extremely watchable and this film is no exception. It may be a little too po-faced at times but it's classic Bond nevertheless.

Good stuff but I wonder how it would have been if Moore went from Moonraker straight to Ocopussy and For Your Eyes Only was the third Dalton film?

For me For your eyes only alongside Daltons both movies and Thunderball and Casino Royal are the best Bonds! I cant stand the 70s outfit alao the pants of the early Moore's or the cartoonish Brosnan

It feels like a Dalton film because the same guy directed all five 1980s Bond films. Three Moores and two Daltons.

I think this was Moore's best Bond film, one of my favorites.
