My ratings for each Omen movie

Most people don't respond to boards like this but, believe me, this one will interest fans.

1: 6
2: 6
3: 6

You might say I'm underrating the first one or something like that but does that mind *beep* anyone else that my ratings for a trilogy of movies about the son of Satan is "666"? This isn't a joke thread, this IS serious(no matter how hard that is to believe).

I saw it, hated it and I don't think its worthy of being counted alongside the other 3.

I agree with both of these reviews and they raise pretty good points about it.

I also knew about it before hand but I didn't want to see it because the third tied up everything.

Whatever. I am not one of those "my opinion is right, yours isn't" types and I have talked to both users and they aren't either but the whole premise of the third one was "we've got to kill him sometime" as quoted by the director so the third was supposed to be the last one.

I am curious though, as to how you think "The Awakening" stands in comparison with the other 2 sequels.

Hello. I am one of the reviewers that you seemed to analyse the reviews of for The Omen 4. Reading some of your complaints I don't think you have interpreted what I said the right way. I am not trying to change your opinion here (and nor should you do the same to me).

The first reviewer brings up something how the psychics at the fair shouldn't have had looks of horror when they saw Delia approaching

I never said that, All I did there was imply that I thought the actors playing the psychics having those looks of horror were rather badly acted (again, this is only my opinion).

Now I'm not sure whether this user was referring to the scene itself being scary or the psychics in the movie finding Delia to be scary in regards to "finding this scary" but if you ask me, the scene wasn't really meant to be "jump out of your seat" scary but just a dramatic moment in the film.

To clear things up, my interpretation is that the entire scene was meant to build up tension and suspense (like these older horror films - especially of the 70's do). In my eyes it failed. Maybe for you it did build up suspense and atmosphere, all I'm saying is that for me it didn't.

I hope I have cleared things up.

Actually I believe that Omen IV was released theatrically out of the country. I think it is mentioned in the trivia. It might have been Austrailia.

The 2nd was too Final Destinationish, as it revolved around more around evil taking care of all those who stood in its way while 1 & 3 were the real deal because the series could do without the 2nd film, it doesn't do anything in context of the storyline.

The fourth one was a TV Movie anyway... So It doesn't count because its not a theatrial Film like the Other Three
