That odd still


You know the climax where andrew is rising the undead? This premiered on showtime in december of 1981, and in the guide was a still of a zombie popping out in BROAD DAYLIGHT instead of nighttime where it does in the film. How did this happen?

Many night scenes in films are actually shot during the day, for convenience's sake. During the filming a dark filter is used in the camera to convey the look of nighttime. Since stills are taken with a different camera than the one filming the scene, they often do not use the filter, so the still photos sometimes show the action in pure daylight.
