I felt terrible for, Ralph, his beautiful dog. Please tell me that dog didn't really lose his life for this film!

Speaking of Ralph, Hurt also called the horse Ralph when he had it lay down in the park. So they both happened to have the name Ralph? Or maybe Hurt calls all animals Ralph.
