Why would they edit out 10 minutes in early video releases? What was missing in them that is in intact in current ones?
shareAre you sure it's not just the typical NTSC vs PAL time difference where you get the exact same cut but different lengths because of the differences in the way the formats play? Usually, this differences technically ad up to 10 minutes to a movie's running time on VHS, even though the content is the same.
