Does anybody know if a Blu-ray release of this one is in the works?

MGM has been good about putting other Norris flicks on the format, but this is the one I'm really waiting for.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

yeah me to I would love to see this film cleaned up, If there is a blu-Ray release for "Silent Rage", "The Hitman" or "Hellbound a heads up would be awesome.

reply

Of course, a Blu-Ray release doesn't guarantee there'll be any clean-up done.
I've seen several that might as well have been on VHS.

reply

yeah, the UK version of "Escape from New York" on Blu-Ray was released by Optimum Releasing and the picture was that grainy it was unwatchable. But the dvd release by the same company was really good.

I'd love to see a special edition done to this fine martial arts film with the trailer and all the tv and radio spots.

Likewise. I would love to see this and "Forced Vengeance" on blu-ray.

Well, folks, it looks like it's happening. Kino Lorber is releasing this one on Blu in June, complete with directors' commentary by Steve Carver.

YES!! It's a must buy for me.

Anybody who -- after already having seen whatever movie -- wishes to buy a DVD, cracks me up as wasting your money & time.

Hahaha, you have memory problems? Some comedies are good to see again, but when there is a real plot, especially suspenseful, you already know the conclusion. I cannot imagine how much more enjoyment that one can get.

Whatever, good for any of you who like to have a hard copy & watch again, even though you know the ending & the scenes leading up to that.

Dumbest post ever. People who love movies revisit them for the details and execution of the storytelling. It isn't just about experiencing the plot twists and the conclusion. There are also people, like myself, who study filmmaking, and enjoy deconstructing the craftsmanship. Got it?

reply

Why the hell do you think movies are shown on TV hundreds of times or DVDs are sold? Because people watch them over and over. Damn dude are you that dense?

reply

Holy hell you're a special kind of stupid.
