this might be the greatest name i've ever come across in a movie. i wish i named one of my sons this.
Other spellings in medieval sources include Leondegranz, Leodegan, Leodagan... make your pick! ;)

i think to maintain its awesomeness, it must at least start with "leon." and it doesn't hurt that pre-famous patrick stewart, with hair!, plays the character.
