This is one of my favorite...

...cheesy horror films of all time. I'm SO thrilled it's finally available uncut on DVD!

It's a must-see for me every Halloween!

I love it, too. My favorite scene is when the lethal demonic pigs attack and eat the hot naked chick while she's taking a shower.

Q: What's the biggest room in the world? A: The room for improvement.

The pigs in the shower was great, plus it had a black guy named Kowalski! (?)

Hey, there, DOOM. >>> I luv EVILSPEAK. I've seen it 70 times. I first saw it in 1982 when I was 9 on HBO. Good thing my mother didn't know what I was watching at that time!

I bought the CBS/Fox Video release, which was the edited theatrical version, a long time ago. I watched that tape 65 times and am surprised it didn't eject itself from my VCR and come after me for viewing it so often.

Then I got ahold of the completely un-cut version with all the gore -- but also all the extra expository scenes like the character of Tony (Leonard D'John) and how Coopersmith got a computer into the basement by stealing a new, boxed machine from storage and carrying it down there.

Luv them killer boars, too. I NEVER liked the slow-motion finale of 'CARRIE'. I think EVILSPEAK has a MUCH better finale. And those rotten cadets get all they deserve.

*** I've noted on some of the posts from various threads people have mentioned FEAR NO EVIL (1981) and how they think it's better than EVILSPEAK. Those people are fu*c**kin' nuts. >>> FEAR NO EVIL is an absolutely putrid excrescence that I despise and would gladly destroy the negative if I got hold of it. Ugh! <<<

EVILSPEAK RULES.

I'm with ya! I first saw this on cable when I was a kid (at Midnight, with no one else home) and it scared the living hell out of me. But that was also the badly chopped up USA version.

It wasn't until I got my hands on a bootleg VHS version a few years ago (horrible quality of course, but still...) that I was finally able to see the 'uncut' version.

Now, FINALLY, we can see the uncut version (both regular and the extended version you mentioned) in great quality on DVD!

Dear Doom: HI. >>> I like being able to see the "extended version".

I actually have it on a tape. Not a studio-made pre-record or even a copy of a DVD. I have a tape made from an un-cut film print.

Nice!

(Thanks to my industrial VCR the picture looks great). :)

I love this movie, it's so cheesy and fun. Clint Howard rocks and is perfect for the role of Stanley Coopersmith. Also the greedy Miss Friedemeyer gets hers in the end. Plus she kindly gets naked and wet for the audience before a pack of wild killer bores come barging into her bathroom and eat her alive. Honestly that's my favorite scene in the the whole movie. Clint Howard said there's an even longer version of that scene then on the current uncut DVD, with more showering, and more bore attack naked woman. It was included in the director's original version of the film he submitted to MPAA. Howard said to date they are still looking for that print.

I first saw this awesome flick on "Channel 31", a local cable station. Scared the s#!t outta me! I caught it a few more times, not expecting it to be on, so I never watched it from the beginning.

One night, my cousins stayed over. After playing hide and seek, we finished the night playing legos, and Evilspeak was on. This time from the beginning. Someone at that station must have been dozing on and off, because we heard "Cooperd!ck", a couple F-bombs, and, to our young delight...

The FULL, UNEDITED SHOWER SCENE!!!

If that wasn't enough, they showed Slaughter High right after. Thankfully, they blurred the shower scene, and almost all the cussing. They blurred the Electro-Sex scene, but didn't pull it. Hell, it even shocked us, but we were busting up.

I guess the editor went for a smoke break, or just said fug it, as the last ten minutes before the credits were unchecked. My cousins and I were surprised they'd let that happen.

You'll always BE a pig farmer.
And now, you will DIE a pig farmer.

Evilspeak and Slaughter High, what a cheese-tastic double bill!

I enjoy it as well. Today was my first time watching it and it was pretty good. I definitely plan to watch it again.
