I know the Anti-Apple crowd probably thinks so, but how did Satan hook up his unholy modem to use that rockin Apple II computer to receive messages from Stanley and also transmit various demonic commands to swine and such?
I know the producers probably wanted to show off those hot computer graphics, and get some use out of their new Apple II, but the entire Satan/Computer connection makes absolutely zero sense.
How bout, it's Satan and he/she/it can do whatever they want because they have angelic powers??? Yeah that's the easy answer but are you looking for a more esoteric answer? Because the alleged "fruit" of the garden of Eden was depicted as an apple, I think you can deduce the symbolism found therein.

I concur (which is no doubt what Steve Jobs was referring to). People have to also take into account that in the 1980's, "computers are magic" (being something brand new to society, much less something now open for mass consumption, people didn't know what computers were capable of.. which meant ANYTHING could be done. Hence WEIRD SCIENCE, TRON, WARGAMES, D.A.R.Y.L., CLOAK AND DAGGER, etc).
