Enter the Ninja and Revenge of the Ninja coming out on Blu-ray in May

Independent distributors Kino Lorber have confirmed that they will release on Blu-ray Menahem Golan's Enter the Ninja (1981), starring Franco Nero, Susan George, and Shô Kosugi.

Kino Lorber will also release on Blu-ray, Revenge of the Ninja, the 1983 follow-up to Enter, starring Shô Kosugi, Keith Vitali, Virgil Frye, Kane Kosugi, and Professor Toru Tanaka. Both releases is scheduled to arrive on the market in May.

No bonuses have been announced for Enter, but if there are any, a trailer will most likely be included.

For Revenge, there is going to be a new introduction and commentary for the film by director Sam Firstenberg.

With these two releases, the Cannon Films Ninja trilogy on Blu-ray is complete, as Shout Factory had already released Ninja 3: the Domination back in 2013.

Great news. I grew up with these movies and look forward to adding them to my blu-ray collection.

There is also The Ninja Trilogy box set coming January 18 that is in Dual Format (Blu-ray & DVD).
