Seen it 2 weeks ago and was blown away stunningly shot great affects , creepy, Gothic ..... in some ways bleak but the over all affect is amazing classic cult true vintage horror , what you you think?

Yes, I agree. This came out the yr I was born and remembered all my life the shrill horror I got around 2 or 3 remembering my parents watch it. About 3 1/2 yrs ago I went to that 80's film site in the setout that I would do whatever it took to find out what that film was that has haunted me all my life and to watch it and I finally found it. It was listed as 'The Beyond' and I when I finally got it-I didnt dare watch it alone. I had to watch it with my boyfriend. He doesn't care for old old horror because of the effects and I told him that this movie is brilliant from what I remembered and let's just say that by time we got done watching the hairs stood up on both of our arms. He was hooked and I loved it! It was even more terrifying finally watching it than the small parts that I remembered. So yes, this movie is a classic and I love it.
shareI sadly never saw The Beyond on video around the time it came out, but I had always remembered Fulci's other classic Zombie Flesh Eaters. So I picked up The Beyond the same day I got ZFE on DVD...watching it for the first time I thought this is such an evil little movie and when the ending came round, that was it, my favourite horror movie of all time!
