reply

I don't care how sad it makes me look, I want to own every Italian horror movie I can find.

If I can't find them all, I want to at least own the best works of Fulci, Mario and Lamberto Bava, Michele Soavi, Umberto Lenzi, and Sergio Martino. I'd say Argento but I think I pretty much have him covered other than the Door Into Darkness dvd.

reply

All of these are great! Enjoy. ;)

reply

Thanks, I'm sure I will. I don't know why but I just love Italian horror films. When they're good they're great and when they're bad they're hilarious. Win-Win.

reply

I know! There's just something about them that makes them enjoyable no matter what!

Relatively low on Italian horror. Only recently got into it.

The Beyond
City of the Living Dead
House by the Cemetery
Kill Baby Kill

reply

You gotta get Zombi 2 (aka Zombie Flesh-Eaters, Zombie, etc), it's an essential.

reply

I am slightly disappointed that none of you guys has mentioned I Vampiri (1956) by the dynamic duo Bava/Freda.

A film that practically launched the whole horror movement of the modern era, not only in Italy, but practically in all Europe (one year ahead of Hammer's Frankenstein), a no contest must-have, although unlikely to be found in a bargain bin.
