does anyone know where I can find a copy of this film?

I've been wanting to see this film for years, but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know if it's been released on DVD or video?

Jeek,I saw this movie many years ago at a Japanese film festival,and was transfixed by this movie.It had a profound effect on me.Sorry I wish I could answer your question,I too would love to have this film or at least be able to rent it.It IS a must see,and it will move you,guaranteed.

this film does not seem to EVER have been released on VHS or DVD--WHY??? Was it ever released in Japan either? The director went on to make other movies, and this film won awards--WHY is it not available??

This movie has been released on DVD, but with Chinese (not English) subtitles. Frustrating!

Saw it at a local art house theater last week, very good and too bad its so unknown

could really use a dvd release
