Her boyfriend....(SPOILER S WITHIN)

So her boyfriend really did just go on a ski trip and that was it?

I spent the whole movie assuming he was gonna be the killer, come back at the end and explain that he was sick of her taking forever to move in, or worried about the other guy (he does make some comment about "oh she'll be fine cause so and so is gonna be with her") but no....he just legit went away on a ski trip and was never heard from again. It was actually pointless for him to even be a part of the movie.

although he did help provide one of the best parts of the movie...."snow tires, awesome!"
